Caio Henrique Vital began his musical studies in 2010, at age 6, at the Escola de Música do Estado de São Paulo - EMESP. In 2014 he joined the class of the distinguished Polish pedagogue Donata Madejska Lange. Then, in 2020, Caio started studying under the guidance of pianist and teacher Luiz Guilherme Pozzi. Currently he studies under the guidance of pianist and teacher Eduardo Monteiro. In 2022 he began his studies at the University of São Paulo (USP).
Despite his young age, the pianist already collects placements in piano competitions, such as 1st place in the 1st EMESP Piano Competition (2016), Vivace Studio Competition (Mexico), 1st place in the Nise Obino Piano Competition and in the Brazilian selection of finalists for full scholarship in the Luzerne Music Center festival. 2nd place at the Rosa Mística Latin American Competition of Curitiba (2018), Souza Lima National Competition (2018), Pró-Música Competition of Campinas (2020), a 3rd place in the Souza Lima National Competition (2017) and the Leilah Paiva Award for best interpretation of Brazilian music at the XII Profª Edna Bassetti Habith Piano Competition in Curitiba (2019). Caio was also a first stage winner, being one of the finalists in the Piano Competition of the 44th Guiomar Novaes week. He is currently studying at USP - University of São Paulo.
His complementary formation consists of an active participation in festivals and masterclasses, having had the orientation of teachers such as Ricardo Castro, Durval Cesetti, Cristian Budu, Pedro Persone (fortepiano), Denis Pascal and Marek Szlezer. In 2020 he was invited to participate in the Young Pianists Series, in Cabo Frio/RJ, and his performance was televised by the local broadcaster.
